A striking specimen from our collection!
Needles of black tourmaline have been captured within a translucent dome of crystal-clear quartz in this special gem. The quartz has been fashioned as an oval cabochon, and weighs 14.31 carats.
The cabochon measures just about 3/4 of an inch long by 1/2 of an inch wide.
We think this gem would work well in a pendant, with a brushed silver bezel and maybe a few sparkly black spinels.
