Deliciously sweet candies for your ears!
Brimming with color and sparkle, these 14 karat yellow gold earrings feature deeply saturated "London Blue" topaz gems, topped with unusual goshenite gems. Goshenite is a natural gemstone, from the beryl family (emerald, aquamarine and morganite are all beryl). Goshenite is named for Goshen, Massachusetts, where it was first discovered! All the gems have been fashioned as oval shapes, with checkerboard style faceting, that gives them an unusual sparkle. The two topaz gems have a total weight of 5.30 carats. The two goshenites have a total weight of 1.15 carats.
The four gems are secured in basket settings, each with 12 prongs. The small, gleaming prongs help to accentuate the curve of the oval gems, and lend a charming, antique flair to the earrings.
The earrings have posts with luxury-weight friction backs, and measure just under 3/4 of an inch in length.
