Two precious charms - one gemstone, one diamond, play on a sparkly chain in this necklace, made by us!
The larger charm features a fabulous pink spinel gemstone. Spinel is a genuine gem, that for many centuries was mistaken for ruby or sapphire, but now is enjoying its own time in the spotlight. This spinel weighs .83 carats and has a vivid, medium pink color. It is untreated. The spinel is set in four prongs and is bordered by a circle of gold. The smaller charm is a bezel style and features a very sparkly earth-mined diamond! The diamond is a round brilliant cut, weighs .11 carats, and has GIA F/VVS1 color/clarity grades. Both charms have circle style bails.
The charms and chain are all 14 karat yellow gold. The chain is 18 inches long, with diamond-cut cable links and a lobster claw clasp.
Both charms move freely on the chain, and each can be removed if you want a different look.
Spinel has been designated as a new birthstone option for those born in August, and can be worn by anyone who loves a pretty, unusual gem!
